Down Under is a term used to refer to and other island nations in the Pacific. These are in the southern hemisphere where you will find warm temperatures when the rest of the world is experiencing winter and the temperatures are much lower when you are experiencing summer in the northern hemisphere. So, you can expect seasonal flights to the tourist resorts in these nations, for those looking to get away from what they are facing in terms of climate in their part of the world. You will find the shortest flights from the Pacific coast and those from Hawaii will be even shorter.
